Our Guidelines

  • The platform is open to women who are residents of Chennai or whose primary occupation or social contributions are based in Chennai.
  • Applicants must apply under the category that best aligns with their contribution. The organisers reserve the right to reassign a nomination to a more appropriate category, if required.
  • All information submitted must be accurate, truthful, and complete. Incomplete or unclear applications may not be considered.
  • The organisers reserve the right to verify the authenticity of the information provided, including professional credentials, achievements, and supporting documents.
  • Applications will be reviewed by an internal screening committee and/or an independent jury panel. The decision of the selection committee shall be final and binding.
  • Any instance of false information, misrepresentation, or attempt to influence the process may result in disqualification
  • By submitting the nomination, the applicant/nominee grants permission to the organisers to use their name, profile details, photographs, and related content for promotional, editorial, and media purposes across print, digital, and social platforms in connection with Women of Chennai – 2026.
  • Selected honourees are expected to attend the felicitation ceremony in person on the scheduled date. In case of inability to attend, prior intimation to the organisers is required.
  • This platform offers honorary recognition and does not include any monetary reward.
  • The organisers reserve the right to modify categories, event format, dates, venue, or programme details due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances.
